Verse 1 I have a story to tell About a life lived in hell About the loneliest Man Who sings the loneliest song He has a journey ahead But he’s not started it yet Has the loneliest man Who sings the loneliest song I have a story to tell About a love lived in jail Is it me, is it you? Or any other poor fool Bridge 1 Who never opened thier eye To look for the truth that’s inside They’re just happy to live all their lies And they never see the light Verse 2 I’ll take you right from the start His life had fallen apart Had the loneliest man Who sings the loneliest song He has a Journey ahead But he’s not on it yet Is he me, is he you? Or any other poor fool Bridge 2 Who never opened their eye To look for the truth that’s inside They’re just happy to live all thier lies And they never see the light. Chorus (Songs from the suburbs) Let me sing you a song (Songs from the suburbs) Will you all sing along? (Songs from the suburbs) Sing the loneliest song In the loneliest world (Songs from the suburbs) Theres a journey ahead (Songs from the surburbs) But he’s not started it yet (Songs from the suburbs) Has the loneliest soul In the loneliest world

Verse 1 Take what you want and leave the rest 'cause that's all that you ever do. The lies you spin will find you out ‘cause the truth matters more than you, will know Verse 2 Life is a drag when you got it all but you know that the feelings gone. Life and soul of the golden years looking back where did it go wrong, for you Bridge Hang your soul out to dry Verse 3 That thrill that you got when you were young has been lost in your older years. All of the one's that you once loved have now been drowned in your bitter tears, by you Verse 4 The prize of your pride don't mean that much when your still dwelling on the past All of the joys those days would bring now you know that it wouldn't last, don't you Bridge 2 Hang your soul out to dry. Sell your soul out for lies

Cold Town 04:53
Verse 1 Will you come around, let me show the sights of my Cold Town The stores are closed, and there’s boarded up windows in dark empty homes. Join me at the bar, 'cause in this town of despair you can't get very far. Where the streets are paved, with the regrets in this life I've made Bridge 1 I feel it rolling in like a storm on the on the sunniest day. The clouds block the light, as day turns to night. And I feel it flow through me like a poison right into my veins. It's making me ill, yet i'm too numb to feel, I'm back where I started again Verse 2 I often wonder why, could I never relive all those years gone by. When times tasted sweet, and as the music was played I would dance to the beat. Now i'm growing old, and I've got nothing to show you from the dreams that I sold. So I'll remain, as just someone who stayed the same . Bridge 2 Now it's rolling in like a storm on the on the sunniest day. The clouds block the light, as day turns to night. And I feel it flow through me like a poison right into my veins I'm drinking again, I stumble and then, collapse to the floor once again. Middle Section As I drift into a hazy dream, Things don't appear quite as they used to seem. A ray of the light shone through my drunken state, A love so pure it shocked me back awake. What a strange feeling.(nothings going to stop me now) A love that was healing (nothings going to stop me now) From searching for a better way. ‘Cause when hopes coming down to land. I won't be stuck here with my head in the sand (oh.. no...) Verse 3 So will you come around, let me give you on a tour of my Cold Town. It lies within, and it's freezing all year from cold westerly winds. I woke up on the floor, as I still feel hungover from the night before. Is this my fate, yeah have I left too late? Bridge 3 And I feel it fall on me like rain on a summers day I'm soaked to the skin, in this game I can't win And the fear it spreads inside like a virus right into my brain its' making me ill, yet i'm too numb to feel the pain And here it comes again like a storm on the on the sunniest day. The clouds block the light, as day turns to night. Nothings going to stop me now as I search for a brighter day. A love without end, I found it but then, I woke from the dream once again.

Jetplane 04:33
Verse 1 No-one told me how to live No-one told me how to love No-one told me how to give All they told me, is that is that i'll never have enough The nights, they were lonely And the days were long and dark until he showed me Verse 2 Some-one showed me a new way Some-one showed me brighter days Some-one showed me a new light Some-one showed me, that I no longer need to fight He said “breathe, breathe in slowly Breathe it in and out as if it's holy” Chorus 1 He said:"in Times of suffering, fear and pain in a world that's gone insane, fly with me on my Jet Plane" Verse 3 Some-one gave me a new light A brand new path across my strife The gift was free, I didn’t understand And inside the moment, she offered me her hand She said “breathe, breathe in slowly, breathe deep into your heart because you're holy” Chorus 2 She said: "In times of suffering fear and pain in a world that's gone insane, fly with me in my Jet Plane" “In times of trouble, where madness reigns, in a world that has gone insane” she said “fly with me in my Jet Plane “ “And live the brighter days" Verse 4 Some-one taught me how to live Some-one taught me how to love Some-one taught me how to give Some-one taught me, that in this moment I have enough. They said “breathe, breathe in slowly, breathe light into my soul, just like they told me" Chorus 3 "In times of suffering fear and pain in a world that's gone insane, fly with us in our Jet Plane" "In times of trouble, where madness reigns, in a world that has gone insane, they said "fly with us in our Jet Plane" (on a higher plane, when I feel the pain) In times of darkness where sadness reigns in a world that has stayed the same”, they said “fly, fly away” In times of trouble, where madness reigns, in a world that has gone insane”, they said “fly, fly away” Someone showed me what is love

Namaste 06:10
Verse 1 Time, Sacred Time, holy Time, do you live inside me? Fall in Line, overtime, do you feel the same as me? Falling Back, heart Attack, do you feel the same as me? Chosen one, life's begun, will you feel the same as me? Chorus 1 The cold winds they will take me to the west., into a place I get no rest. But the warm winds they will take me to the east, that’s where I’ll finally find my peace and I am home. Verse 2 Light, sacred light, holy light, do you shine inside of me? Outside time, out of my mind, do you see the way I see? Chorus  2 And the one’s who always claim to know the most, they will watch you turn to toast. But the one’s who always seem to say the least, they’re the one’s who’ve found their peace. I’m going where they sing that word so sweetly, so I can lose my mind completely. And the cold winds they will take me to the west, into a place I get no rest. But the warm winds they will take me to the east, that’s where I’ll finally find my feet. Middle Section Tell me when you’re feeling low, When you’re lost and there’s nowhere to go.Tell me when you’re feeling down. (Still hungover from the night before.) Chorus 3 On my journey now there ain’t no looking back, no running around the same old track. My minds released into eternity, a boundless love is all I see. I’m going where they sing that word so sweetly, before I lose my soul completely. And the cold winds they will take me to the west, into a place I get no rest. But the warm winds they will take me to the east, that’s where I’ll finally find my peace and I am home. Namaste (repeat and fade)

Stasis 05:35
Verse 1 How could there be a day, without a night How could there be dark without a light How could there be a voice, that's never heard How could there be a song, without a word Bridge   We stayed the same, nothings changed, we feel the the pain, time once again he's fooled us.... Verse 2 How there be a dawn, without a sun How could there be a war, that’s never won How could there be a tide, without a moon How could there be a flower, that never blooms Bridge 2 We stayed the same , nothings changed, the fear remains, time and again he’s fooled us...   Middle Section Well maybe the golden years weren't as precious as they seemed. Was the darkness still there inside? Feel the chill as the cold winds blow into our hearts and minds. Were consumed by our own desires, till the end………. Bridge 3 We stayed the same, but things can change, don't feel afraid. 'Cause time could heal these wounds one day. The warm winds start to blow our way. But for now in stasis we must stay. Still frozen by our fears. Verse 3 How could there be a plan, without a goal How could there be a heart, without a soul How could there be a sin, without a god How could there be a man, who never loved. Who never loved...

about

The third volume of the ‘Songs from the Suburbs’ series of E.P’s is a concept album and is based around the 4 noble truths as told in Buddhist philosophy.

It tells the story of a man who has become unsatisfied with life and has turned to drink as a way of forgetting about his unfulfilled hopes and desires. He realizes that the persona he has created for himself is a lie and he yearns for a deeper meaning to his existence

One lonely night he falls into a drunken sleep in which he experiences a spiritual moment. Upon wakening he is inspired to to find a way to recapture that fleeting moment and sets out upon on a spiritual journey using meditation to aid his quest.

As he travels further into the journey he can’t help but recognize all the other unenlightened souls around him, and wonders if they will ever join the path that offered him salvation.

The narrative of this album is inspired by Eckhart Tolle.
